TAKE A PHOTO CAUSING GO PRO FREEZING AFTER FIRMWARE UPGRADE

HI I just bought my gopro hero 6 1 day ago

 

i update the firmware and everytime i go to (photo mode) 

 

It will freeze and i cannot do anything except take out the battery

Sorry to hear that you are having some trouble with that camera. What SD Card are you using?

I tried to use gopro without my sd card but the freeze still occured

 

I flip the camera upside down.  And it can take photo.  What to do?  It so strange

 

Now i disable the auto screen rotation and change it to down.  And i can take picture but it so weird

 

 

Can i claim warranty?  It only 2 days after i purchase

I would recommend giving the steps in that article a try using an SD Card that is recommend first.

Thanks but i do believe that the problem is not related with memory card

 

now i turn the autorotate from 

 

Auto : camera photo freeze (if i open the camera when the rotate position up)

Auto : camera photo working , i can take as many photo as i wanted (camera rotation upside down)

 

Up : Camera freeze

Down : works fine but it is not proper.

 

is it hardware or software issue? could you give suggestion

 

Tomorrow i will go to repair center but they said they can replace it for 14 days in indonesia

what do you mean by they can replace it for 14days?
is it they only can replace to the new unit replacement if you found the trouble in the 14 days only? or what happen?

i also live in Indonesia, Jakarta to be precise..

that's why i want to know.. since the hero 6 just change the authorized dealer from indoGP to TAM, and don't know how they policy are..

where is the service center anyway?
