Re: Surriscaldamento

Hello @quickstorm20623

Does this happen every time? What resolution settings are you using for your recordings? The camera has a tendency to increase its temperature when recording in high-performance modes such as 2.7K and higher resolutions. In addition, the internal components of the camera dissipate heat to the outside (surface) which is normal in its operation.

Have you ever observed your camera to turn off while recording due to high temperature? Aside from what was mentioned, other factors that may increase camera temperature are:

  1. lack of airflow around the camera
  2. using the camera with the GoPro App
  3. using a non-compatible SD card; for a list of compatible ones, you can check this list: https://gopro.com/help/articles/block/microSD-Card-Considerations
  4. charging the camera beyond the expected charging time

It will help as well to manually update the camera.

Best regards,
Marius
