SuperSuit + cover lens after dive

Hi,

I'm going on a liveaboard with a new GoPro Hero 5  black+ the super suit.

I’ve notice that you need to remove the lens protection, so what exactly do you do after each dive?

Do I need to put the protective back on and after every dive for charging and back off before the next dive?

How delicate is the GoPro without the protective lens?

Thanks in advance.

After each dive, rinse the whole housing off (with GoPro sealed inside) and let air dry. (It's not critical that you wait until completely dry, but it's a pain to remove incidental moisture from the unprotectected lens if you get water or condensation fog on it.)  Once dry, open up case and charge or swap batteries as needed. You can leave the lens protector off while charging or exchanging batteries if you don't plan to use the GoPro (and it's not somewhere it can drop and break while charging). Just limit the time it's left vulnerable and exposed like this due to risk of damage and dust fiber collection on lens before inserting back into dive housing.

Great, that answers my question perfectly.

Thank you.
