Super suit

So I just ordered the hero 7 black, and I’m very excited about it, as this will be my first gopro. I will be doing a lot of hiking with this. Is the super suit a good idea? Does it distort the sound any?

Since the camera will be in a waterproof housing, the Super Suit will muffle the sound considerably. You don't really need the Super Suit. I certainly hope so. I did a lot of research before I made the plunge to purchase it. I am looking forward to taking it out on my backpacking trips and swimming in the falls. From everything I’ve seen this will certainly make our trips memorable for a lifetime.
