Sunset Timelapse, Grainy video

[ New ]

Hi

I was using the GoPro 8 Black to shoot a sunset timelapse and the video turns out Grainy. Similar things happened to my underwater footage. Is it just because of low light? If so is there any setting I could change to get a better result? Screen Shot 2020-06-25 at 9.37.55 pm.pngScreen Shot 2020-06-25 at 9.38.43 pm.pngThanks!

Yes, Grainy footage is usually caused by too low a light, vs high iso settings vs low exposure time.

This guy gives some really good informatino and setup settings for all sorts of shooting (including nightlapse) with the Hero 8

His site is well worth reading.
