Hello. New GoPro user here. Got a Hero 6 Black for around $200. So far I'm loving it. (The app needs a lot of work, but the cemera itself is great). But I was surprised to see that there is no timer function for the camera. That is, one that you press the button and it counts down from 3 or 5 or 10 or whatever before taking the picture. This seems like something that could EASILY be added to a firmware update.
I know about the voice command, but sometimes you are trying to be quiet so this is not necessarily an option in all situations.
Another minor addition that could be useful is info about the files created when in view photos/videos mode: Info about the file sizes, when they were taken, etc. I thought a "long press" would bring up something like this, but unfortunately not.
Anyway, thanks for listening!

Though the camera does not have a timer, you may use TimeLapse Photo or Burst to achieve this option.
Thank you for the feedback regarding file details being available on the camera, we'll have this shared to the team.
If you wish to check the file information, once saved you may view it using your computer or your phone.

Thanks for the suggestion, aragon. Others have suggested that as well (using the timelapse). One downside is that there is no onscreen countdown so you can prepare for the shot, or even a flshing light when it is about to take the picture. It's not really a huge deal, but I figured it would be something that could be added to the functionality of the camera pretty easily via a firmware update.
