Stuck in update [ New ]

Hello, I've done an update and it downloaded but now it seems to be stuck on the install. It's been installing for 5 hours. is this normal? What can I do?

Hello, @agilesand14770. An install of 5 hours long is certainly not normal. How was the update done? IF not manually, try doing so. The steps under Manual Update here HERO8 Black - Software Update Instructions will guide you through it.

Thanks for the shout out. I found out that you cannot do an update while the Camera is plugged in to the charger. After unplugging and going on battery everything went smoothly.
