Static noise with or without external mic.

Whats up everyone, I just noticed that I have been getting a static noise while recording with my hero 5 black. I Have 2 different types of external microphones  (Omni & directional).

Seems like I’m getting this with the directional shotgun mic, I’m gonna test it out with the Omni mic now to see if I’m getting it as well.

Could this be a setting issue? The directional mic I’m using is battery powered and on stereo mode.

yes that is exactly how I have it for the correct one.
