Shutter START / STOP button on Touchdesplay [ New ]

Hi, any hope to get on next firmware for Hero 8 a shutter button on touchscreen?

A simple redbutton like a rec-button on an smartphon.

Its can be so hard to make it or?

Who can support it?

Why?  There's a shutter button right on the top of the camera.

Awesome Idea:  my Kodak ZI10 was all touchscreen and they had exactly that.  We already have in short cuts a 15, and 30 second  video caption.  

WIth  Beta firmare 1.70.75  the QR command for that  does not exist, it is a  Engineer firmware upgrade and feed back to gopro can be offered. We the members can only offer our comments  and you heard one shut down,

If you use a handle, then you need the second hand to start and stop the footage/recorings.

If you have only one hand it would be better to have one button on the screen,

so you could reach that screenbutton with your thumb from the hand that holds the handle.

No hands needed for voice commands.....

You a right, but i dont like the voice control.

Sometimes all the technical equipment dont understand me so i dont like to speek with them.

I dont use this feature.

I hope to get a red button. :-)

Simple like in TimeWarp the "blue button" to record in realtime. (TimeWarp, Auto ON / OFF)
