Shaky footage

Hello guys,

Since some month ago, I have been facing problems with my gopro. Some of the pictures are shaky or whatever you call it because the picture looks bad. This is really annoying as you can see attached. Any advice please. Something I am doing wrong, the configuration...

Thanks in advance

Cheers

Re: Shaky footage

You have HDR enabled in photo mode.  HDR basically takes 3 different bracketed shots and lays them on top of eachother to achieve a single High Dynamic Range shot.  So detail in the shadows and midrange without been overblown by the highlights.  The downside is that you need to be using a tripod when doing shots like this, otherwise you'll see the type of Ghosting that you're seeing here.  This is happening because you have moved position in between the 3 different shots (shakey hands, just walking etc).

So turn off the HDR and you'll get the shots you want and only use HDR when you have a tripod or some way of keeping the camera very very still.
