Re: Shadows when stitching 360 video, GoPro Max
[ New ]I got the same issue.
I stay in one open area and shot 360 video, 360 photo.
That 360 photo no obvious shadows issue.
That 360 video got shadows in the video when I downloaded it and watch it on my iPhone XR gopro app.
That 360 video got shadows in the video when I uploaded it to youtube by my iPhone XR gopro app.
That 360 video doesn't have that obvious shadows in the video when I reframe it in 1080P by my iPhone XR gopro app. (Sure I keep pointing the shadow area it uses to have when I reframe it)
That 360 video doesn't have that obvious shadows in the video after I downloaded it from the sd card & watched it by gopro player on my macbook pro.
I think that is an app issue on IOS.
Someone said Andriod got no issue on this (I haven't fact-checked).
Anyway, anyone from Gopro can make a comment on this?

Re: Shadows when stitching 360 video, GoPro Max
[ New ]yes I just checked on my mac with gopro player app and shadows are reduced, there is still a slight difference in contrast on the stitching line but not as big as the one on ios devices

Re: Shadows when stitching 360 video, GoPro Max
[ New ]Yes , I can clearly confirm the exact behaviour . It is visible under any lightsituation and regardless how far or near the object is, but the more the lower the light is .
It is clearly a stitching problem, but the way the 2 lenspictures are overlapping.....looks like the lumavalues are beeing added.

[ New ]@bluewater86456 @alucard866 @nkllok @murtadaa1724 @sharpflash481
Sorry about that.
- For Preview / Live: you will see the stitching line - the live preview doesn't have the final stitching, the full / final and clean stitching is applied when you areactually recording.
- The issue with the shadow is also related to stitching, the team is working on it for the next firmware update. I do not have the info about when this will be out though.
