Session 5 not holding charge and saying sd card full- brand new sd card!

I have had my session 5 for a year.... until now it has worked perfectly but suddenly stopped holding a charge- only giving me 5 minutes of recording time at most ?

It then said SD card was full..... so i changed to a brand new card and it is still saying SD card full ??? Its a SanDisk extreme plus 64gb

 

HELP!!!

 

I'm not very technical and have no idea what to do

On the menu, scroll to Exit and then hold down the top shutter until factory reset comes up. Do the reset and then run a manual update.

Thank you- that has fixed the SD card problem..... not sure about the battery problem yet
