Sand particles in my go pro borders

I used my go pro hero 5 black on the beach and when a wave of water came.. the sand particles got into the sides of the screen and borders of the camera..

Ensure that all of the doors are closed properly and soak the camera in clean water for about 15 minutes. After, rinse thoroughly. Allow the camera to dry completely. If there is any remaining debris, use a soft fine brush and/or attempt to blow out the remaining particles.
