Red LED lights [ New ]

Hi, I bought a new Hero 8 and this is my second time I'm charging it. I just noticed that both the front and back LEDs still in red even though the battery already fully charged. Any reason why? Thanks. Knowell

Please try resetting the camera to its factory settings

What are you connecting the camera to for charging? If the charging device (for example laptop USB port) isn't providing enough a high enough charge, the red light will not turn off. Connecting to a wall charger with 5V 1-2A will usually resolve the issue. If you are using a laptop, making sure the laptop is plugged in and (computer or laptop) that you are using a USB 3.0 port will also help.
