Recording time is very low. [ New ]

I have a GoPro hero sessions with a 32 Gb memory card. But I can only record for a couple of hours ! What’s up?

Hello @greensurf61572, 

How many hours does the camera allow you to record? With a basic recording set at 1080p at 30 fps, and with the 32-GB SD card that you are using, the camera should allow you about 2 hours and 10 minutes of continuous recording at full SD card capacity.

As @fishycomics mentioned, the more storage space you have, the longer will the camera be able to record. Although, considering the battery life, a HERO Session camera can only record continuously for up to two hours (1080p, 30 fps). This means that if you have a larger capacity SD card, and you connect the camera directly to a power source, you should be able to continue recording until full SD card capacity. A HERO  Session can work compatibly with up to a 128-GB SD card as shown in this list of recommended cards.

more memory the more footage you'll want to get a 64gb card. check at goprofor the recording info.
