Recording GoPro Max 360 videos with camera mounted at 90 degrees

[ New ]

Hello! sorry for such a silly question.

I'm mounting a GoPro Max to record 360 videos, with the grip horizontal, but I want to edit the footage to show the footage rotated at 90 degress, so the horizon is where it should be. Is this realistic to think as possible?

I would just try this out myself, but neither my phone, nor my Macbook Pro seem to be able to edit, nor even view 360 videos without it being so choppy as to be unusable.

Hello @stoutflame31342. MAX captures everything around. You should be able to choose your preferred POV on the post process. Additionally, you can check out this YouTube video shared by Abe Kislevitz for some tips about mounting the camera: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOQ0UCotzSY

I'm using the Max Grip. I don't want to rotate the GroPro in the grip, as that will remove the ability of the invisible grip from the footage. Seem my photo:
