Quik importing erased my content

While importing, I received an error message which stopped the importing step, however Quik decided to erase all the content on my SD card even though the importing was not finished. Because of this I lost more than half of my media. I find this to be unacceptable and you should address this problem as soon as possible. To make matters worse Quik also showed me a pop up that it succesfully imported about 2000 pictures out of 5000. Is there anything I can do to recover the lost content?
