Quik doesn't recognise camera

When I connect the camera with the usb cable to my PC, Nothing appears on the Quik app.

But as soon as I remove the microSD card out of the camera and reconnect the camera to my PC. The Quik app recognises the camera but obviously there is no media because the sd card is removed.

 

The screen on the HERO5 Black displays USB connected

 

I think the issue lies with the microSD card but I am not sure on how to solve the problem

Honestly though, you will get much more reliable and faster downloading to your computer if you just remove the card and use a USB 3.0 adapter.

Thank you! I used the troubleshoot on the printers and devices settings, it told me that the HERO5 Black drivers were out of date. I restarted my computer and everything works good now.
