Quick desktop does not see files

I am using Quik desktop I just downloaded it and it shows my camera when I plug it in but it says there are 'no files to import'. The sd card is 83% full so there are definitely a bunch of photos. When I look at the pics/videos through the GoPro, I can see them all, and play the videos. So I know they're not corrupted.
Why are my photos still not showing up In Quik ?
Thanks for your help.

Thank you for the information.
If you are using a Mac - updating to the latest version should resolve the "No files to import" error.
If using a Windows computer, go to Device Manager> Find GoPro> Select "Disable" then "Enable".
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!

Hi Ej, and thanks for your help.
But I just downloaded the Quik software, so I do have the latest version. Wondering if I should remove and re-install maybe ?...

You can give it a try.
If it's still the same, you may try importing the files using an SD card adapter.
Thanks!
