[ New ]It's actually more convenient having it go into time lapse in most situations as often people or scenes will change (someone blinks, doesn't smile, or looks the other way) and you benefit by having the follow up photos.

[ New ]I do not think QC (quick Capture is set up for that But long press will do a timelapse phot so you can press QC long press get your photo and press again. Set up timelapse photo to take a longer interval. Just remember any movement will cause issues to the phot so you may wantto get more then one shot in.
