hi,

means that you entered on monitor screen the "Exposure Control"

see page 44-45 in the manual.

the above are for hero7 and hero6

for Hero5 should be the same behavior, I cannot check right now, as I sold hero5 when hero7 came into town....

...and is at pages 63-64 in the H5 manual....
