@loyalbluff22655, sorry to hear you're having issues with the camera. Please make sure that a recommended SD card is used for your camera. Using SD cards that aren't recommended can cause issues like freezing as the card isn't fast enough to write the content, the camera getting hot or battery consumption is higher than normal as the camera stays in an active mode trying to sync to the card.
Reinstalling the firmware update of the camera can also help correct any errors with the current software installation. Follow the Manual Update instructions specified in this article: https://community.gopro.com/t5/en/How-to-Update-GoPro-Cameras/ta-p/394229
Additionally, performing a factory reset in the camera may help.

In english you want any serious help you need to speak english... The Gopro company is in california in the usa were we all speak english. Make a effort to use a translator if you want help. Otherwise you are on your own.... I live in a foreign country that speaks the hardest language to learn and I dont expect the new country I am in to help me in english all the time I have to learn the language. So if you want help from a american company that has a native language of english speak english.

About the effort to speck and learn English is the most international language and everybody know it.

The problem with my GoPro 8 was that at the time I turned off it goes on by itself.. but it seems to work just perfect now.
