Do you get a message that your camera's Wi-Fi is not ready? This happens to HERO5 Black cameras or later. To resolve:
Perform a factory reset on the camera. Once it powers back on, remove the battery and wait a few minutes, then reinsert the battery once more and power it back on. Go through the pairing process once more, and the camera will pair just fine. Please note that you may have to attempt this multiple times.
