It will be best to run a manual update on your camera.
Please refer to this link.
Once the update is completed, uninstall/reinstall the GoPro app on your phone.
Proceed with the pairing process.
Please note that you may need to forger the Bluetooth ID through your phone's settings.
This should get it all sorted out.

Hi @rockydive08024,
Possible your phone automatically connects to a Wi-Fi with internet connection.
Please try to disable auto network switch or smart switch on your phones connection settings.
You can also manually connect your phone to the cameras Wi-Fi SSID.

Unfortunatly disabling the auto network switch didn’t work.. How do I connect my phone manually to the cameras Wifi SSID? Earlier today I was suddenly able to connect it, and I thought everything had worked out, but when I tried to do it again the same problem occured..
