Problem with GoPro hero 5

first gopro I buy, i'm really disappointed with this camera, I think I almost wasted my money, i can only record less than a hour at 1080p 30fps, bluetooth off, gps off, protune off, auto low light is errible, drain the battery even when is off with all setting off, I update the camera's software, that was the firts thing I did, but still freezing up, also the video is overexposed and underexposed, shadows are really really darks and lights are really really brights, planning to go with another brand.

Re: Problem with GoPro hero 5

GoPro Hero5 cameras have top-notch image quality. That being said, they also have a LOT of adjustable settings.

My personal favorite settings are:

1080 res

30 fps

ProTune ON

Flat color profile (GoPro color if you don't plan on adjusting in post)

Image Stabilization ON (but only when hand-held filming)

400 ISO (when in good lighting)

Give those a shot, and if you want better low-light performance, you can try manually cranking up the ISO.

Lots of great sample footage videos out there showcasing what all of the different settings do, and the video quality is awesome once you figure out what setting works best for your needs.

Good luck.
