May I know how deep is the water before it happens?

For now what I can suggest is to reset the camera to factory settings and try to install the latest firmware update.
If issue persist that might be a hardware problem.

Is the camera on its own or is it attached to the SuperSuit?
Did you have screen lock turned on?
