Re: Problème de batterie GoPro Hero 7 black

Hello @stoutsummi2360

Sorry to hear about the trouble with the camera. Cameras may have limitations when operating in very cold or hot temperatures, most notably in high performance modes. If this is not the overheating issue that you are observing, and you have already tried out the tips here , it would be best to engage our Support team for further assistance. You may reach them by phone or chat through https://gopro.com/help/ContactUs .

Best regards,

Re: Problème de batterie GoPro Hero 7 black

Bonjour,

Hi @pyroclastique

What SD card are you using?

See if resetting the camera will help.

Other users also suggest that after charging your camera fully, remove then reinsert the battery.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks!

Ej

Please double-check that the SD card you're using is compatible with your camera. Our list of recommended cards is at https://community.gopro.com/t5/en/SD-Cards-that-Work-with-GoPro-Cameras/ta-p/394308. If you are using a card that's not on that list, it can cause the GoPro to use power much more quickly and drain the battery.

Also, just to be sure, please charge the GoPro again and then after you power it off, remove the battery, wait a few seconds, and then place the battery back in. That should make it so the camera is 100% off. Then, see if there's a drain on the power after a day or two.

If there is, then there could be an issue with either the battery or something like a short in the camera itself. Our Support team at https://gopro.com/help/ContactUs can help with those issues.
