Pixelated video on new hero 7 black

I have had my hero 7 Black since March but had not messed around with until the end of April because my wife decided to make it a birthday present for me. I have taken a couple videos with it and and when I went to review the footage there are green, red, orange, blue, purple specks on the footage. It happens on the other videos as well. When you look at the rear screen it doesn’t look like anything is wrong with the footage but when you save it to an sd card it is there and also when I connect the go pro to my phone as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated

What SD card are you using?

The sd card I’m using is a scandisk extreme plus 64GB. I don’t think that it is the card because it will do it even when the as card is out of the camera and I have the camera connected to my phone by wi fi. I can’t get a video to upload so here is a screenshot of it.

I have factory reset twice and no luck.

Thanks for tying the factory reset, however, this is different from the steps above.

Please try to re-install the update.through the link.

I have tried every way of updating the firmware and it will not update. Since I’ve barely had it two months I’m wondering if i already had the latest firmware installed on it since I see that the firmware was released in January 2019. I will just have to give them a call tomorrow and see what they say.
