Phone disconnects from GoPro wifi

I am having trouble with keeping my app connected to the GoPro hero 5 session. My phone connects fine, but once it sees that the wifi from the GoPro has no internet, it disconnects it. I can't find a setting to change this. I'm running Android 6.0.1 on a Kyocera duraforce pro phone.

Sorry to hear about the trouble. See if manually updating the HERO5 Session camera will help clear the issue. You can follow steps under "Manual Update" in this article

 

Also make sure that your phone is updated to its latest OS and that you have the latest version of GoPro App on your phone. You can do this by uninstalling and re-installing the app.
