How can I use the mobile as remote while watching my clips on my TV? HERO5 Black is connected with HDMI to the TV.
I have tried the Capture app, but that only shows the video on my phone instead of the TV.
Also, how can I make the HERO5 Black automatically play the next clip?

Great Question @erikf51.
The GoPro HERO5 has GoPro PLUS.
If you use the content cloud you can stream and share
it to your chrome cast tv, or AppleTV.

Thank you for your reply, bt it doesn't really cover what I want to achieve:
Problem 1: When traveling, I want to connect the camera to the TV (e.g in a hotel room) with HDMI. Start watching first clip and automatically go to the next clip. Typically the kids wants to see what they did that day while traveling and they are too young to handle the gopro. That could keep them busy for a while, but now I have to run back and forth to the TV to go to the next clip every 3-5 minute which is very counter productive. Uploading all content to the cloud would be hard since the hotels might have no or very limited network connection. Also your solution would require to buy a subscription and a new gadget to achieve a basic feature that all camcorders have been able to do out of the box for decades.
Problem 2: Some of the clips might be not interresting to watch for the kids, so I would like to skip to the next clip directly from my phone which is connected with wifi and "Capture". I cannot find a basic feature like that. Now I have to walk over to the TV whenever I want to do that. As far as I know, there are no option to make Capture control any of the content output from the HDMI cable. Only stream to the phone and control that content.

Now I see what your trying to achieve.
So yes you can connect it with the HDMI port.
So when you go to playback, you can click the menu
and you'll need one that says slideshow, it will start
from newest to old with all the clips, and you can jump
a video with the arrow if you don't like it, that should work.
To skip when away from the camera you can't use the Capture App.
You would have to use the GoPro Smart Remote to do that wirelessly.
