Overheating

Hello,

I have a GoPro Hero Session and have had it for almost 3 years now.

I took it on a trip last August and realised it was overheating very quickly and died very quick. Since then I have not used it.

Having used it today, it overheated after 2 30 second videos that I took. How can I stop the overheating and breakdown of the gopro? Could it be a problem with the sim card?

Many thanks

Sophie

Re: Overheating

Hello, @nicehero20632. It could be a problem with the SD card or the camera firmware.

Which SD card are you using? The brand name, type, and capacity will be helpful information.

To further isolate the issue, we recommend doing a manual update. This will help eliminate any possible error with the current installation. The step under Manual Update here will guide you through it. Let us know how it goes. Thanks!
