Number of photos limited on long Time Lapse

Hi All I have a project to take unlimited number of underwater time lapse photos (5s interval) w/ GoPro Hero5 (last firmware update) until battery will run out. I have a 64 GB fast SDD card Settings: auto off -> never and GPS ->on. I tried many times but the GoPro stop taking photos after +/- 540 photos but the battery is more than 50% ! (Tried above water and works the same) ! What I'm doing wrong or I have to change some settings ? Another secondary question is how to save time info in the photos. I could not see a setting for that. Thank your time on advance Francisco

Re: Number of photos limited on long Time Lapse

have you tried it with a different SD card, they are very fussy & even just doing timelapses some cards can't keep up

Re: Number of photos limited on long Time Lapse

Today I will try another frame rate. I was tacking a pic every 5 seconds on timelapse and I will try one photo every 10 seconds.
If that will not work I will change the micro SD card to see how it works
My expectance is to take photos in timelapse until SD card overflow or the battey out of power.
I will inform soon

Re: Number of photos limited on long Time Lapse

With another frame rate (a photo every 10 seconds) in timelapse I had take photos until battery power reach empty.
1094 pics during 3 hours
Settings I turn off GPS and idle time to power off never
I felt the heat on GoPro but nothing to worry

Just one question, how can we save time info in the picture in photo and timelapse mode?

Thank your atention
Francisco
