Not shutting down

Hi!

 

My HERO5 will not turn of ... I think. When I press and hold the mode button to shut it down, the main screen turns off but the front display remains active. The only thing that shuts it down is taking out the battery. 

 

Is the camera off? Is the front screen consistent of electronic ink, locking the latest settings in place when I power of ... unlikely.  

 

Whats wrong with my GOPRO?

Not sure what is going on here. Is the WiFi still on when you turn the camera off? If isn't then you may need to perform a manual update of the camera. Even if the camera is up to date it can correct any issues there may be with the current installation. https://gopro.com/update/hero5
