Not pairing and not detecting with iPhone

My sessions 4 is not detecting on my iPhone 8. 2 days ago it was working ok. For the last 2 days, I haven't been able to pair. I have reset wifi and 'Forget' off my phone's Bluetooth. Still nothing.

 

It seems that the APP button isn't registering anything when I press it. Normally it would go into a pairing mode, but now it's not. When I press the shutter button it does make a sound.

 

I have just deleted the app from my phone so I can now reinstall it. Trying a few different scenarios.

 

How can I get this to work?

 

Please help, trying to finish off kids project for our family overseas. Many thanks

Hi @acesup75

 

Put your camera on pairing mode.

Check the Wi-Fi settings on your iPhone.

See if it picks up the camera's Wi-Fi name.

You may also run a manual update. See https://gopro.com/en/us/update/hero_session

Thx EJ for your help so far, but nothing is working. I tried sending over a quick vid of my issue but it wouldn't load to send.

 

When I press the shutter button on APP screen, it makes a sound but doesn't go into any pairing mode. Nothing changes.

 

Im stuck!

 

I tried to reach out to the support team with no response. I will try for a 3rd time. Is there a full reboot, full reset pin button or a sequence of buttons that can help me get this working again?

 

It's a shame, i have only clocked up about 3-4 hours of recording.
