No saved files

I´ve just bought a 9. It works ok for shorter movies up to 40 seconds. Longer than so they will not be saved on the SD-card. What am I doing wrong?

What resolution are you recording in?

Are you getting an error message?

What version is the camera on?

What SD card are you using? Please include the brand, type, and capacity.

As I am learning my new device and haven’t been shooting any important I am using 1024/24.
SD card Sandisk Extreme 64GB (came with the order from GoPro.
No error message. It looks like it’s recording but the files won’t save.

It’s all updated with the latest firmware...

How was the last update done?

If it was not done manually, we recommend doing so. Please follow the manual update steps on https://gopro.com/en/us/update/hero9-black

 

Should it still be the same, please send us a video/photo of the error on your camera.
