No power

My Gopro Hero doesn't turn on at all. When I click on the Power button nothing happens and even when I connect it to my laptop with the Gopro charger, nothing still happens.

Is it normal, do I have to wait a few days, or should I contact the support right now ? I don't know what to do because it was a gift from my family who bought it in a French website then sent it to me in England, where I am currently living.

I really need my Gopro for next week as I am travelling so if I have to send it back to the constructor to fix it I'm afraid I won't have it back on time.

Have it already happen to you ? What should I do ?

I'm truly sorry to hear that you are having issues. since the Hero model does not have a replaceable battery, there is not much that I think we in the community can suggest.  If the GoPro is not charging then you need to contact the Support Team ASAP.

If possible, try a different cable with a few different chargers.  make sure to include this information in detail when contacting the Support Team as it will speed the process.

Add fuel to the fire (expression)

1 hard reset ten seconds. 

2. try a factory reset.if camera has 20% power or more.

3 like said try all  the cables you have, andchargers you have, use a 1A charger and let sit for an hour or more, see if a red light appears, see if it is warm to the touch. 

 

4A return to shop, use another camera. while you're away 

4B contact support they'll help out.
