No gps data despite switched on gps
[ New ]Today we went biking in austria, on the same trail like yesterday. And i would like to go faster then yesterday, so i accellerate more. Yesterday, everything went fine with gps there. And today i look on the camera at film begin, saw the gps logo in white and thought everything went fine. After import to mac, he said to me there is no gps data... Even after new import and import on iPhone there is no gps data. But why? I paid nearly 400€ for this devices and have so many problems with it (3 videos where the gopro just stocked after a few seconds, or just hanging sometime) (newest firmware!)

Re: No gps data despite switched on gps
[ New ]HI @maxs3013
Do you still remember if these videos were taken via QuikCapture?
The camera may have not initially established a GPS connection when the recording was done.
What application are you using to overlay telemetry?
Thanks!

Re: No gps data despite switched on gps
[ New ]Sorry to hear about the trouble, @roberta1477. See if GPS information could be displayed via GoPro app or Quik for mobile app. We have received reports about Quik for desktop not detecting GPS information but we are still waiting for an update from the team regarding a fix.
The links below detail how to display GPS information on mobile:
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks,
Marius

Re: No gps data despite switched on gps
[ New ]@roberta1477 - Other than Quik for desktop, you can download GoPro App for mobile and Quik for mobile. These will detect GPS data by allowing you to use GPS performance stickers. These apps can be downloaded from Google Play Store or Apple iTunes depending on the device that you will be using. Thanks!

Re: No gps data despite switched on gps
[ New ]@mariustanya If I use Quick Mobile, telemetry data is. The problem lies with the desktop version. In another thread, I saw that the problem in the desktop version was not resolved from 12-26-2018 05:44 PM
When will the application be corrected?

Re: No gps data despite switched on gps
[ New ]Hello @roberta147
We are waiting for additional information from our team.
In the mean time, you may try other applications to overlay telemetry using a computer.
Most users suggest Racerender or Dashware.
Thanks!
