No Linear mode for Hero Photo on GoPro Max? [ New ]

I want to take simple photos with my GoPro Max in Linear Lens Mode with no distortion but we are only able to choose between distorted Wide and Superwide.

I can take Hero Video in Linear but I can't take a photo in Linear???? If not, this needs to be fized.

Linear on Photo mode is not an available FOV for MAX.

Thank you. I am aware of the limitations. GoPro needs to fix this or at least explain why they would limit our choices.

The only temporary solution is to grab a screenshot from aLinear Hero Video, correct?
