Nightlapse white balance stuck on 5500K when shutter is not auto

[ New ]
As in the topic, the gopro hero 7s white balance in nightlapse mode can be changed, but will always reset to 5500K when the shutter is not set to auto. I want to use a 30 second shutterspeed for very dark areas. You CAN change it with the app, but I dont want to use it as it drains the battery faster. When are you planning on fixing this?

Re: Nightlapse white balance stuck on 5500K when shutter is not auto

Hi @zippypeak70523

Due to variation in white balance with the longer exposure times, when any shutter value aside from AUTO is chosen, white balance is locked at 5500K; this makes it easier for a user to adjust an assembled Nightlapse' white balance later if desired and avoids the white balance variations/oscillations seen with longer shutter times.

Thanks!

Ej
