New SD Card And Camera, But SD Card Full Error [ New ]

Hello,

New Hero 5 Black with SanDisk 64GB Extreme Plus and getting this error. Both are new and have only been used for 2 days. I formatted the SD card in camera as soon as I inserted it, but haven't updated the firmware yet. The funny thing is that this error appeared once, but it still allowed me to record once the error went away. Is this normal?

Forgot to add that the camera was off, so I just pressed the record button and got this error.

try to format in your computer first then the camera second and report back later if it comes back.
