This driver had installed on my PC. Fixed the connection problem I was having with a phone and the Session 5.

@Anonymous Thank you so much!!! I have tried every other possible way and nothing, I mean NOTHING worked. Now both my Hero 4 Black and Hero 5 are fully recognised again by the computer and Quik. I had to manually delete the driver as indicated in the post, reboot, plug gopro and tadaaa!

that doesnt work at all for me... my gopro is upto date but there is a definite issue and not just with WIN10
Im using WIN8.1 and im also having MTP Driver issues...

This does not work for me...
I am using WIN 8.1 but this problem is not just about what Windows update happened for MTP devices
Ive tested my Gopro 5 on a lot of different computers now... all are having the same problem
device manager - portable devices - still image etc
I managed to fix one laptop by messing about with drivers but it was not easy and no support from Gopro made any difference at all.
Now i have wasted the entire weekend trying to get my computer to recognize the gopro
Gopro your stock price is falling.... get it fixed quickly please...
