New Hero 5 will not boot up.

I just recieved a Hero 5 in the Trade up program. I took it out of the box and it has yet to work. It turns on yet only displays the "Hero 5" logo in the fornt screen and the back screen doesn't work at all. I have updated the software 3 times to no avail. I cannot reach any Gopro service rep. I jsut want to exchange this thing for a working one but cannot get to anyone who can help me.

I have been on hold waiting for support for almost an hour now. Is there no email to contact someone?

I use the chat feature. It took me 12 minutes to get a rep yesterday.
