New GoPro black 8, stuck in software update when tried from mobile, same issue with manual update [ New ]

Bought a new GoPro black 8, the GoPro app prompted for a software update, performed the software update via mobile, there was a message on the screen saying all set and a tick mark but the camera never completed the update stuck in 1/2 . Tried manually upgrading it as well, still same issue. Can u please help me recover my gopro

Update manuel...

Reset hard...

Please try this. 

1st make sure that your SD card is a recommended SD card. 

https://gopro.com/help/articles/block/microSD-Card-Considerations

Next reformat your SD card and download the update from this website: www.gopro.com/update

Update your camera manually: https://community.gopro.com/t5/en/HERO8-Black-Software-Update-Instructions/ta-p/398811

Please let us know if that will work.

Idem ! rien de tout cela n'a fonctionné.....

CARD SD => OK

BATTERIE = > OK

UPDATE MANUEL => NOK

GROPRO => HORS SERVICE....

Après ouverture et 1er connexion je l'ai mise à jour via mon mobile, elle n'a même pas fonctionné 5 minutes.....

Je pense que la derniere UPDATE est buggée....peut-on récuperer l'ancienne version du firmware ?

Please contact GoPro Customer Support via phone or chat. 

Just change your language or region from English US. 

Its located on the upper right hand corner of GoPro's website.

I had the same problem. Firstly I formated my micro SD card. Then I downloaded the update manually (following the instructions). When I inserted the card into the slot the update got stuck again.

But when I pressed both MODE button and SHUTTER at the same time and held it for couple of seconds, that completely reset the cam and now it works again.
