Re: My hero 7 dont have hypersmooth for 4k 60fps
[ New ]Hello @memyth,
The resolution setting in 4K at 60fps with 16:9 format use HyperSmooth. I agree with @fireytree7606. If you are not seeing the option, and have not done the update yet, try doing it manually. You can find manual update instructions below:
- Go to the Update page and choose your HERO7 camera.
- Under "Other ways to update" at the base of the page, click "Update your camera manually."
- Enter your Serial Number and other requested information, click Next Step.
- Click "Download Update."
- Click "Click here to download firmware."
- Follow the steps on the screen for detailed instructions for your operating system.
Make sure that the camera is fully charged and that you are using a recommended and formatted SD card. After the update, you should be be able to access the settings with Hypersmooth stabilization as presented here.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Marius

Re: My hero 7 dont have hypersmooth for 4k 60fps
[ New ]I find it hard to believe if you are fully updated that you don't have 4K 60fps Hypersmooth. It was added in the latest firmware update.

Re: My hero 7 dont have hypersmooth for 4k 60fps
[ New ]Using your computer, download the manual update. Extract the UPDATE folder to your computer. Insert your SD card into your computer with a USB/SD adapter. Copy the UPDATE folder to the root of the SD card (easiest to do if you format your card in the computer first). Eject the card and put it into your camera. Turn the camera on and allow it to run the update.
The camera will turn off and on during the update process and show a check made on the front LCD when done.
Let us know how the update process goes for you and if you have any issues.

Re: My hero 7 dont have hypersmooth for 4k 60fps
[ New ]Since you have done the update it sounds like you are in 4:3 format, not 16:9 format. Hypersmooth is not available in 4K 60fps in 4:3 but is available in 16:9 after you have done the update. When you are selecting the video quality and frame rate you should see 4:3 or 16:9 in the top right corner, if it's showing 4:3 then tap it and change it to 16:9 and then 4K at 60fps with Hypersmooth should be available..
