My gopro hero led display won't work

My gopro was working fine and suddenly the led display won't work. The camera will record but doesn't show on display at all. What can I do to fix this situation? The camera is new I bought it to use on our vacation and it worked fine now that we are home the display will not work.

Hi @megabeach73176, 

Please try to remove and insert the SD card. 

If that won't work try to install a new firmware manually by following this steps: https://gopro.com/help/articles/how_to/Software-Update-Instructions-for-HERO-Cameras

Choose HERO2018 and follow Manual Update Steps.

I took my gopro back to best buy where I purchased it. They were very helpful. Lot more than gopro support. They replaced the gopro we will see if this one works longer if not I will look for another brand.
