My Hero 7 Silver keep locking up. A picture is on the screen, it won't turn off, it wont charge [ New ]

Second time now, my Hero 7 Silver just freezes up. Picture, icons, and didplay screen is on. It will not respond to any other buttons of icons. I cn't shut it off or control it with the app on my phone. please help.

If a camera is freezing up, it is usually an indicator the camera's software needs to be updated or there is potentially an issue with the microSD being used.
