My Hero 6 black always comes up with a spanner or fault when in water which is very annoying.

Hi My Hero 6 Black always faults to the spanner on the screen when it gets wet, is this normal, could it be to do with the touch screen as it works ok when dry, there is no evidance of water ingress at any time. It is very frustrating and a bit of a worry as it is out of warrenty next week. Can the touch screen be disabled when using in water. Any ideas please?

Many thanks

Hi @sunnybluff82444

As an alternate option, you can have the screen lock turned on.

On your camera, swipe down on the may screen. Tap on the lock icon to activate the option.

I hope this helps.

Thanks!

Ej
