if you haven't yet though, check to ensure that the SD card is not inserted between the SD card slot and the battery (this can put pressure on the back of the touch display). If this does not resolve the issue, proceed with a manual update, then a factory reset. See the links below for the instructions:

Or you can try fixing it yourself (same instruction for HERO6 as HERO5)
