It does work when shooting short clips, but longer ones it gets hot and shuts down.
Its an amazing piece of tool but this is unaceptable as I can't use it for what my intended use.
Anyonee can help me with this problem?

@musiqman - If your camera is getting hot, that's often a sign that there's an issue with the SD card. Do you have another SD card you can try to see if that's the issue? If not, can you see if the camera shuts down (or gets hot) after 15 minutes when there's no card installed?

Thank you for the reply.
The only other card I have is a lesser (speed and class) 32gb Sandisk Ultra 32gb MicroSD HC1 C10.
I did a test this morning and the longest recording was 35:39 before freezing up. After a soft reset (holding the button for a few seconds) the repair file logo showed up and had repaired a file on the camera.
I have it on record now without the lcd backpack to see if this makes a difference.
