My GoPro shuts down after about 15 minutes of shooting. Regardless the full battery and empty card.

It does work when shooting short clips, but longer ones it gets hot and shuts down.
Its an amazing piece of tool but this is unaceptable as I can't use it for what my intended use.
Anyonee can help me with this problem?
Specs:
GoPro Hero4 Black (latest firmware and original accu's)
1080P, 60FPS, Medium Angle, no Protune.
Sandisk Ultra 64gb U1 XCI

@musiqman - If your camera is getting hot, that's often a sign that there's an issue with the SD card. Do you have another SD card you can try to see if that's the issue? If not, can you see if the camera shuts down (or gets hot) after 15 minutes when there's no card installed?

The only other card I have is a lesser (speed and class) 32gb Sandisk Ultra 32gb MicroSD HC1 C10.
I did a test this morning and the longest recording was 35:39 before freezing up. After a soft reset (holding the button for a few seconds) the repair file logo showed up and had repaired a file on the camera.
I have it on record now without the lcd backpack to see if this makes a difference.

try testing on t 720P with the highest speedcard you have

Well... it doesn't the GoPro still gets hot and shuts down after a while. I think my GP is defect.
